Her name said it all.  She was truly the finest ewe we ever raised.  She went unnoticed at Louisville by the judge, but not by the people around the ring.  Many people said she should have been the Champion Oxford Ewe.  Others thought she would have been the favorite for Supreme if she had won.  Ultimately, she never got the chance, but we couldn't have been more pleased with her.  She has set the standard high at our farm, and we keep striving to make another like her.

.We would like to use this page to tell you about our ewe flock and discuss our personal standards. Jim & I are strong believers in easy doing sheep.  Maternal traits are important and we keep that into our breeding program.  Our ewes are expected to produce enough milk to feed twins and also to carry enough capacity to raise them.  You will find that the majority of our ewes carry plenty of bone and natural thickness while still maintaining style and correctness. Our ewes are only from our breeding program.  We closed our ewe flock about 10 years ago. The majority of our sales are to repeat buyers that have discovered they are investing in the genetics that have come from over 23 years of progressive breeding.  We do line-breeding and when we purchase an outcross ram, we make sure he is of the highest quality.  You can be assured when you buy an Everett Oxford that you are getting "Quality Without Question!"
