The Building Blocks to Success!
Everett Oxfords
Quality Without Question!
We started raising sheep in 1974 with the purchase of two registered Hampshire ewe lambs. Our Hampshire flock grew over many years and when our sons, Michael & Jeffrey joined 4-H, they both showed Hampshires. After a year of our oldest son,  Mike always taking the better Hampshire lamb to show and placing higher than Jeff, Jeff decided he wanted his own breed of sheep.
As a means of establishing a new Oxford flock, a 4-H Oxford family sponsored an essay contest with the winner of the contest receiving a three year old bred Oxford Ewe.  Jeff decided to write an essay and to our surprise his essay was decided the winner.  This was the beginning of Everett Oxfords in 1987.
Jeff continued to build the Oxford flock and was very successful showing at fairs and regional events in the Junior and Open Shows.  Mike & Jeff are both married now and pursuing different interests.  Jim & Kathy continue showing, selling, improving and promoting Everett Oxfords.
Jim and Kathy have served as 2-term Directors of the American Oxford Board representing the Eastern States. We always look forward to attending our local and national events, promoting Oxfords at every opportunity and enjoying time with all our sheep friends.
